Reminders

Please be sure that all homework written on tablet paper has the proper heading: Name, Date, Subject. Your child knows the proper heading.

Your child will typically have his/her Spelling Pre-test in the Homework folder on Mondays for the entire week. Students are tested on the words Fridays. In the event we have a day off school during the week, we will make adjustments accordingly.

Send a healthy snack with your child daily.

You must be Virtus trained to volunteer at the school.

Homework Process: The homework is written on the board when students arrive first thing in the morning and is left on the board for the remainder of the day.  If a student does not get his/her homework written down during the given time period, they are to do it during snack and/or recess.  At the end of the day, I go through what they should be taking home, slowly ITEM BY ITEM. Students should be taking each item out of their desk and placing it on their desk as I name each item individually.  Students should not be leaving the classroom without any necessary piece of their homework.
