K4 and K5: We are discussing folk tales
this month, so be sure to ask your child about the stories of Chicken Little
and the Little Red Hen. We will be

1st grade is beginning a Paint
unit where we will learn to use the tools available with the program to make
patterns and draw.
2nd grade is working with
Microsoft Excel. We have learned to
change the background color of cells. We
will be doing class surveys soon and typing them into the program.
3rd grade and 4th grade
are learning keyboarding skills.
Remember to keep your hands on the home Row. Technique is the key!
5th grade is working on Name art glyphs. We are using words to create art in PowerPoint.
7th and 8th grade Computer II: We
are creating concept maps, turning them into rough drafts, and creating an interactive
PowerPoint based on the story.
