  2. Schools will be notified by the Catholic Schools Office of the total amount of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Tuition Assistance Grant that will be distributed among the 30 schools so that schools have an idea of how much might be available to individual schools.
  3. Applications will be sent to the schools by the Catholic Schools Office no later than February 28 for the upcoming school year.  Applications will also be available on the password protected Principal’s section of the Catholic Schools Office website.
  4. Schools will advertise their financial aid process including the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Tuition Assistance Grant availability and the appropriate deadlines.
  5. Individual School Finance Committees will collect and process tuition assistance grant applications and determine those eligible for a St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Tuition Assistance Grant.
  6. Applications that have been reviewed by the School Finance Committee as eligible, and approved by the Principal (as indicated by their signature on the application), will be sent to the Pastor/Pastoral Administrator for his recommendation, endorsement and signature.
  7. Schools will send completed applications, with all documentation, to the Catholic Schools Office by the specified deadline.
  8. Once the Catholic Schools Office Tuition Assistance Committee has reviewed the applications each school will be notified of the total amount they will receive for all applicants.
  9. Check requests will be made to the Diocesan Finance Office in the amount awarded for each school receiving tuition assistance grants.
  10. Grant checks will be mailed to the schools during the month of July to be credited to the student’s tuition account receiving the funding
  11. If the amount a school receives is less than the amount requested it is the responsibility of the School’s Financial Aid Committee to determine how the grant will be allocated among the qualified students.
  12. Each school receiving a St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Tuition Assistance Grant will forward to the Catholic Schools Office a list of grant recipients, including the amounts awarded to each student, within 10 school days of receiving the grant check.  The Catholic Schools Office or Bishop will send a congratulatory letter to families listed.
  13. All previous St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Tuition Assistance Grant recipients must submit a completed application every year to be considered.  There is no guarantee that past St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Tuition Assistance grantees will receive tuition assistance grants in the future.
