Athletics-GO EAGLES!
In addition to its outstanding curriculum, St. Anne currently offers opportunities for team participation and competition to all grade levels at our school. All of our teams/sports are coached by trained volunteers who, like SAS, believe in the enrichment of experience participation in athletics can create.
St. Anne School offers intramural team play in soccer and basketball starting with our K4 students. Baseball Saturdays and flag football are also a fun experience for our elementary students.
St. Anne Middle School is a member of the Charlotte-Gastonia Athletic Association (CGAA) where the SAS Eagles can compete and field teams in co-ed soccer, cross country (boys and girls), volleyball, cheerleading, basketball (boys and girls), golf, tennis, baseball and flag football. Our teams have added conference championship trophies to our cases in soccer, baseball and volleyball.
Participation in our sports programs requires a physical and appropriate diocesan forms (found below). It is also imperative for our middle school students to understand that their studies/grades should be their main focus and that participating in a sport and on a SAS team is a privilege. Every student-athlete must sign the St. Anne School Code of Honor, keep focus on their grades and schoolwork and represent St. Anne School in a positive manner.
